Orakei Korako Among Top Picks for Taupo

Orakei Korako has been recognised by a major international tourist website as one of the top attractions in Taupo.

The geothermal attraction has been ranked 2nd in Experience Oz +NZ’s ‘Top 10 Things to Do in Taupo’ for 2014.

The popular tourism site describes Orakei Korako as far less "touristy" and "commercialised" than Rotorua geothermal attractions, with "beautifully constructed wooden walkways that allow for easily-accessed, up close viewing of the various springs and flora".

The article goes on to say Orakei Korako is Taupo’s quintessential geothermal experience".
