Upgrades Complete

The arrival of our custom-built ferry made complete the extensive renovations that have taken place at Orakei Korako over the past five years.

A full upgrade to our walking track, grounds, cafe, shop and toilet block was completed in 2011.

A large grass area gives room for picnicking in summer and wheelchair accessible paths to our new toilet facilities and shop means anyone can sit and enjoy the spectacular scenery at the MudCake Café.

The range of products at our newly designed souvenir shop will be sure to impress.
