Thank you so much for the experience. It isn't often that I've come across such a beautiful place that is still treated with such respect and yet still, run by such wonderful, relaxed people.

Visitors enjoying the thermal wonderland of Orakei Korako

I am not the sort of chap to normally send such missives, but I just wanted to say two things:

First, how incredibly well done the attraction is there at Orakei Korako.  It is done in such good taste and in a way which informs to the full without coming across as tacky and like a number of 'similar' attractions at Rotasomething.  It is incredibly peaceful.  It's also without the vaguely interested crowd that does the site because it is On The List.

I just wanted to congratulate you on your Cave and Thermal Park, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

This visit was our first, we shall be back on our next visit from the UK!  I should like to higly commend your staff, what a lovely, welcoming, helpful trio they were - so happy too.  The staff were Wai, Krystal and Rochelle.  I think they made our visit go from the category 'good' to 'very good'.

Orakei Korako Ferry and Silica Terraces

We visited your thermal park on Wednesday 20 February and I am emailing you not only to say what a wonderful park it is but mainly to say how impressed we were with with the helpful, kind and courteous way in which your staff looked after us - in particular Wai, who went out of her way to look after some members of our party who had arrived late.  Depsite this she arranged a late ferry to take them to the park and also stayed behind to arrange to them back across which was very much appreciated by us all.  Thank you Wai for looking after us so well.  I would certainly recommend your park to

Orakei Korako's 'Map of Africa'

My husband and I visited the Hidden Valley 2 June 2011.  We left Rotorua heading for Taupo, we just happened to see your sign and decided to investigate.  WOW!  We were so impressed by your staff - the chef, the boat driver and the man who owns Henry who gave me an old CD were fantastic.  We both loved Henry as we had a dog like him once.
